Fresh Ideas in Chinese Epic Movie

I am an Asian but not Chinese. But a few days ago I watched two China movies which was again interesting for me. I've been watching a lot of Chinese action movies, and these two movies become a phase where I wanted to opine about the Chinese action movie. Some of the action movies, starring Donnie Yen, for example, is a Chinese action movies that I like. But, maybe for me these two films became China's top action movies that deserves to be admired.
The first movie was The Woman Knight of Mirror Lake and the second movie was The 1911 Revolution. Many China movies which charged epic and struggle, in particular film starring Donnie Yen and Jet Li, but most of the main ideas of their movies are pretty close together and easily readable. But, in my opinion, fighting and martial arts in their films became one of the main objectives. I was always amazed by the art of fighting in their films. I imagine, if the art of fighting is not regulated beautifully and fabulous, definitely these movies looks dry.
Their movie's core is the struggle to uphold justice, especially in the realm of nationalism. You can see clearly in the Police Story movies from first to last, starring Jackie Chan. All were charged ideas of good nationalism and localism. They are always campaigning for a strong Chinese nationalism: become citizen of China who love the country. But their stories are easily readable and same.
But in The Woman Knight of Mirror Lake and the 1911 Revolution movie, the charge of the struggle has been wrapped with epic stories that seem real. The play is truth and nationalism itself, not the personal and individual.
In the first film, a revolution to overthrow the corrupt Qing dynasty is described as serious revolutionary process but the main character who make the revolution finally meet death before the revolution which is fought achieves success. The main character is named Qiu was beheaded by the Qing government, although the actual play it is 'revolution' is alive and embedded in the next generation.
In the second movie, the revolution ultimately achieve success. This movie tells a revolutionary movement leader named Sun Wen, who succeeded in overthrowing the Qing dynasty after 2000 years of Chinese control. Political events in this film is so visible, unlike in some other Chinese epic movies. Revolutionaries succeeded in overthrowing the Qing dynasty totally by way of peaceful and smooth.
Sun Wen's words are also great, actually contain a strong sense of nationalism. Maybe that's why China is now becoming strong country and achieve economic strength, particularly in Asia. Regardless of the system of communism in China until now, I am pleased with these two movies. This movie describe how and from where the hegemony always begins, and how the form of its mental. And one more thing I like about China movies is I never found a hot scene, which may be in another Chinese movie genre there is and even Hollywood movies. These movies that released last year is not boring.
